How to reserve new
titles on our website

Our reservation system works as follows:

Follow the link to the book that interests you. If you wish to reserve the book, click “additional info” near the bottom of the book description. A new page will open, there you will enter your name and email address, then click the “reserve” book button. Your name will be entered into a data base.

When we have confirmation that the books are within 48 hours of our dock, you will be sent an email which will include instructions about how to pay for the book you reserved, and a special link through which to do so. If the book is paid for in a timely manner (usually the Monday following your notification), your book ships with the same pre-order deal as always. Any reservations not paid within the allotted time will be canceled. While we do understand that sometimes circumstances change and folks may not be able to fulfill their reservation commitment, repeated failure to do so will force us to no longer accept reservations.

Since we are PCI compliant, we don’t (and can’t) retain our customer’s credit card information. Thus, payment information is not recorded at the time of reservation, but rather, it is collected when shipping is imminent.

Why pre-order? By pre-ordering a title, you are guaranteed to receive a copy the title that you want, even those produced in limited quantities. Additionally, you will be among the first to receive the new book, as we ship the pre-orders immediately when they arrive from the printer or publisher. by reserving a book, typically you secure a price even lower than our normal low prices (unfortunately, a few of our publishers don’t permit this). Because of the additional discount built into the reserved pricing, no additional discounts apply to reserved books.
